I'm not an expert neither. BP died in 1941. This mean his drawings will be under public domain after 1 january 2012 (beginning of the year following it's 70 death anniversary). But you may talk of that on the forum (forum.scoutwiki.org), I hope you have there many more answers.

I agree. Rule of thumb for European (incl. UK) works is the first new year day after 70 years after the death of the (last) author. Anonymous works is the first new years day after 70 years after publication. US is far more complicated. --egel 17:46, 19 November 2009 (UTC)
