From ScoutMedia, the free scout media repository
Revision as of 20:51, 1 December 2006 by Cedsib (talk | contribs) (adding the email draft for WOSM)

For a start, here is the structure the report will have. Note that it should not be too long, one page would be a good deal. So please try to be concise, and to go to the essential.

Structure

Background of the promising practice

How it all started, in what conditions, how did you come up with the idea, what was your motivation, starting questions.

People and methods involved

Who was involved in the project, how many people, what methods did you use (teams, presentations, weekends, etc...)

The process

Sequence of steps, describing what you did and when

The outcomes

What were the results, what changed

Difficulties

Problems you had to face, what did not work and why, what others should be careful about and learn from

Photos and other examples describing the project

Requiring help to write the document

An idea has been suggested: to ask all ScoutWikiForum members for help about this letter. Here is the email draft.

Dear ScoutWiki member,
WOSM (World Organization of the Scout Movement - the biggest Scout Organization) is planning to create a website with best practices, and they contacted us to promote the ScoutWiki project on this website.
There are different constraints to write this presentation, and it must be done very well and very quickly.
If you have a piece of time to help us writing this document, please go at ScoutMedia - Promising practice
Thanks a lot for helping,
Best regards,
Cedsib, for ScoutWiki
